Acoustics

Provides measurements, calculations, and design services in architectural and room acoustics, as well as electro-acoustic design for sound reinforcement, studio, and hi-fi systems. Our expertise spans a wide range of properties, including music studios, clubs, concert halls, residential and cultural spaces, hospitality and educational facilities, offices, and industrial plants.

Architectural design

Responsible for the visual, aesthetic, and ergonomic aspects of each project, we focus not only on appearance and comfort but also on the ecology and sustainability of the materials and structures we use. Amid this rich mix of overlapping design goals, we continually seek innovative ways to shape and treat spaces without compromising acoustic quality.

Supply

Builds and maintains business relationships with audio equipment distributors, while navigating local regulations, customs, and taxes to ensure timely delivery of equipment at competitive prices to the project’s location. The Supply Department is also responsible for producing our own custom acoustic units and accessories.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does your typical workflow look like?

Many clients often wonder what exactly we do during acoustic research and design. To clarify, we’ve outlined one of our standard workflows to illustrate the typical process. You can find it in this section of the Services page. However, we also apply several alternative approaches, each selected individually based on the specific needs of your project.

What are the timelines for the execution of typical projects?

Average project timelines have been greatly reduced thanks to the continuous advancement of IT technologies. Currently, completing one premise of about 50 sq.m. takes approximately 5 business days, including acoustic research, design, and detailed instructions with layouts. Each additional premise extends the schedule by roughly 2 business days. Adding optional services such as interior design or equipment supply can significantly affect the duration. In practice, interior design adds about 5 business days for the first premise and 2 for each additional one. Supply and construction work within our regular regions typically require around 10 business days for the first premise and 3 for each subsequent one. Overall, a turnkey project for a 50 sq.m. premise is usually completed within about 2-3 business weeks.

How can I be sure of the resulting quality?

Every WaveWork solution is developed in strict accordance with international acoustic standards such as ISO, DIN, VDI, and others. The only exceptions occur when accommodating a client’s unique creative vision. Even then, our designs remain closely aligned with the standards — with performance carefully predicted, controlled, and typically verified on-site. The final acoustic parameters are maintained within industry-recommended ranges, corresponding to the specific purpose of your premises.

Do you offer on-site supervision and cooperation with the client's architects and foremen?

Yes, the services mentioned above are also available from WaveWork individually upon request. While our core service already includes a technical report with detailed instructions and layouts for implementation, we additionally provide personal support for construction teams, architects, and foremen to help prevent potential errors and ensure timely execution.

Can I conduct the measurements in the premise myself?

In some cases, if your project is too far away from us, it's simple and you have basic audio engineering skills, we offer mentorship to teach you how to measure your premise, prepare for the treatment and build. We provide acoustic research and design, you act on-site. We provide instructions, you build. Teamwork.

Do you offer bespoke acoustic units and finishings?

Yes, we do. If you share our vision of creating spaces that are not only acoustically excellent but also visually striking, interior design is usually the first step. This often leads to the need for custom shapes, colors, and finishes. While this process can be time-consuming, it delivers a unique aesthetic and cultural identity, along with an exclusive listening experience and the highest level of professional performance. For music studios, home cinemas, conference halls, and some public spaces, we typically build most of the structures on-site from raw materials. Preproduced units are supplied from known manufacturers in your region.
